Protests demand release of all IMN prisoners including Zakzaky and Mallimah Zeenah

World-wide protests for freedom for Sheikh Ibraheem El-Zakzaky, Mallima Zeenah and all the prisoners of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria, held in illegal detention since this day 2 years ago are taking place today from 3pm GMT.

Protests are taking place in the following countries:

Nigeria

UK
India
Iran
Pakistan
Malaysia
Indonesia
Switzerland

Organised by the Universal Justice Network, the protests demand justice for those detained and those killed in the Zaria Massacre two years ago today.  Over 1000 unarmed peaceful people were killed by the Nigerian army during attacks on Islamic Movement sites including mosques, Islamic centres and the home of its leader Sheikh Zakzaky who was blinded in one eye during the attack, and whose wife was shot twice.  Three of his sons were also killed in the massacre.  Zakzaky and Mallima Zeenah remain incarcerated without charge until today
