On the 10th March 2016 IHRC’s Raza Kazim chaired an IHRC side panel at the Human Rights Council Session with Patricia Macmanus of University College Union (UCU) and NUS Black Students’ officer Malia Bouattia. They discussed the developing counter-terrorism regime in the UK and issues of racism, Islamophobia, discrimination and denial of civil liberties that results from the various laws, and progams like Contest and Prevent. Watch the video below.
