PRESS RELEASE: UK – Samina Malik has won her appeal

Islamic Human Rights Commission (IHRC) welcomes this decision in accepting the appeal of Samina Malik.

IHRC Chair Massoud Shadjareh commented:

“This confirms our concerns over the anti-terror laws and its interpretation & implementation. Furthermore we are concerned of its impact not just on innocent people but the whole community”.

IHRC is pleased with the decision on Samina Malik’s appeal and urges the police & the crown prosecution to learn from this case.
