UK EVENT: ‘Human Rights, Justice & Muslims in the Wake of 11th September 2001’
A seminar organised by Islamic Human Rights Commission

The Islamic Human Rights Commission (IHRC) is organising a seminar on the human rights implications of the events of September 11 in the USA. In particular it will be emphasising that having an anti-terror stance is compatible with having a stance against the current war. Topics to be discussed include:

the double standards in operation in current international standards;

coping with the anti-Muslim backlash;

international and Islamic standards of justice;

defining terrorism;
