UNICEF has just released figures for the death toll of children in Yemen, which is shocking. Almost 3,800 children have been murdered, with a further 7,250 seriously injured, since March 2015, with the actual figure believed to be much more. The situation in Yemen is currently disastrous and the people are desperate to flee. The human rights situation appears to be on a shocking scale. Whilst a coalition of countries, particularly Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, have been mercilessly bombing the country, UNICEF also says that around 4,000 children have been recruited to fight in the war.
The Saudi Government is using bombs sold to them by many different countries. The United Kingdom, which has currently claimed to be supporting the human rights of people in Ukraine, are actively helping and profiteering from the same being done in Yemen. The message is clear, people from a white European country matter more than those from an Arab-Muslim country. It is time that Britain stops with this hypocrisy and stops helping Saudi Arabia to kill Yemenis.

Re. The Killing of Children in Yemen

UNICEF has released a report that said 3,800 children have been killed in Yemen, and a further 7,250 have been seriously injured. These are the known figures; they believe the real figure to be much higher. The report, also, speaks of thousands of children being forced to become soldiers, and children being raped, kidnapped and imprisoned.
The coalition, which has been bombing Yemen mercilessly for the past seven years, is led by Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. It is shameful that Britain is helping them to commit these dreadful crimes against humanity, by selling these regimes weapons that are used in these killings.
I strongly urge that you stand up to these weapons companies and demand that the government bans all weapon sales to these regimes and any country that is currently bombing Yemen. The time has come for Britain to show the same commitment to the human rights of Yemeni children and no longer be a part of this massacre.
