PRESS RELEASE:  Palestine / Turkey:  Israeli Storming of Peace Flotilla another murderous chapter of delegitimized regime

As the death toll of Gaza peace activists bound to deliver aid aboard the Peace Flotilla rises, and further details emerge, IHRC Chair Massoud Shadjareh said:

“Ironically, the Israelis described this flotilla as an attempt to delegitimize Israel.  By this murder of peace activists, they have further delegitimized themselves.

“It is time for the international community to stand up and take action.  Their abysmal failure to bring Israel to task over any issue is a stain upon every international organization’s record.  Every country that claims to adhere to even the most basic international norms needs to be asking the Israeli ambassador in their country to leave.”
