PRESS RELEASE: Malaysia – Malaysian State religious authority raid Ashura event

IHRC is deeply concerned by reports that JAIS (State religious authority) raided an Ashura commemoration event, at the Hauzah ar-Redha in Selangor on 16 December 2010.  IHRC is monitoring the situation and raising its concerns with the Malaysian authorities.
