As IHRC launches its seminal report on anti-Muslim discrimination and hate crime in the USA this week, the IHRC Bookshop (in-store and on-line is running a number of offers).
This is the latest in the Muslim Experiences project run by IHRC. This book presents a history of racism in the USA, the rise, role and context of Islamophobia and hard and fast statistics based on IHRC’s 2012 survey of Muslims in California of hate crimes. Shockingly almost 30% of Muslims surveyed said they had been a victim of a hate motivated physical attack. Find out more about this and other experiences in this volume.
The book is available to pre-order at the discounted price of £7 (usually £10) until midnight (GMT+1) on 23 June 2013.
This book traces the interactions between the Black radical imagination and the Muslim Third World from the 1950s to the present. Sohail Daulatzai will be joining us for an event to discuss his book and it will be livestreamed on www.ihrc.tv at 6.45pm (GMT +1) on Wednesday 5 June.
His book is available for £19.40 (reduced from £25) from here
