Today it is the anniversary of the Srebrenica massacre. Some of the victims’ remains, 18 years on, have still not been found.
IHRC has commissioned a documentary on the Bosnian Genocide that is due to be released this year. The documentary will look at how the genocide in Bosnia was not just restricted to Srebrenica, where 8,000 men and boys were massacred, but took place across Bosnia.
The Documentary shows firsthand accounts of victims; survivors, relatives of the murdered, academics and those that identify remains found in mass graves as they detail what took place two decades ago. It will present a compelling and emotional account of what took place in Bosnia, using personal testimonies, the documentary will show that 20 years on from the war, the wounds are still very raw.

“And what reason have you that you should not fight in the way of Allah and of the weak among the men and the women and the children, (of) those who say: Our Lord! Cause us to go forth from this town, whose people are oppressors, and give us from Thee a guardian and give us from Thee a helper.”
