1. Summary
From his maximum security prison cell at Supermax ADMAX USP, Florence, Colorado, Imam Jamil replied to an IHRC Eid card sent to him during the month of Ramadan. Additionally, an Imam Jamil fact sheet with updated information is now available online.
2. Imam Jamil’s message
During the month of Ramadan, the IHRC campaigns team sends Eid cards to various prisoners of faith throughout the world. In response to one such card sent to Imam Jamil Al-Amin at his current home in ADMAX prison in Colorado, IHRC received a gracious and moving reply from the Imam. That reply reads as follows:
”Bismillah al-Rahman al-Raheem
From: Allah’s slave; Jamil Abdullah Al-Amin
To: Islamic Human Rights Commission
As Salaamu Alaikum,
Istagaamu: Labbaik Wa Sa’daik.
May Allah (Ta’Ala) Reward you for your kind words and thoughts. May Allah make me worthy of, and ever grateful for all that He gives me. Please keep me in your dua’as. Give my salaams to the ummah.
Allah’s slave,
Jamil Al-Amin”
