I am writing to express my concerns over the treatment of members of the Islamic Movement headed by Sheikh Ibraheem El-Zakzaky by the Nigerian government.
Umar Haruna was killed and four of his colleagues injured when soldiers opened fire on them
Both Amnesty International and the UK-based Islamic Human Rights Commission ‎have indicted the Nigerian military
So far at least 29 people are understood to have been killed and approximately 80 wounded
IHRC produces a damning report accusing Nigerian soldiers of indiscriminately shooting and killing defenceless members of the Islamic Movement of NigeriaÂ
