From 22nd – 24th March, we will be demonstrating outside the High
Court in London for the duration of Gareth Peirce’s application for
judicial review. This case could force the UK Govt to take
responsibility for three of the British residents still held illegally
in limbo in Guantanamo Bay after four years.
They are Omar Deghayes, Bisher Al-Rawi, and Jamil El Banna.
The demo details are:
The Law Courts of Justice
The Strand (near Aldwych)
Wed 22nd March 9:30am – 2pm
Thur 23nd March 9:30am – 2pm
Fri 24nd March 9:30am – 5pm (or when the judgement arrives)
It is possible that the judgment will not be delivered on Friday but everyone will be informed of it and the consequences as soon as they are made public.
The Save Omar Campaign is bringing a bus load of people down everyday – most of us don’t have to travel as far as from Brighton. C’mon London, let’s show our support!
