IHRC wishes everyone a blessed Eid. In his message for Eid ul Fitr this year, Massoud Shadjareh reflects on the unique situation we have found ourselves in this year.
He reminds us that for many, the loss of our liberties is but a snapshot of the lives of others around the world, who have suffered lockdowns of the most brutal and cruel sort e.g. in Palestine, Yemen and Kashmir, not just for a few months, but for years, even lifetimes.
He encourages us to not forget this lesson, and to take part in the campaigns IHRC is running on many different issues to help those whose freedoms and dignity are under continued assault.
