#Flytheflag and #boycottapartheid campaign
Due to popular demand, IHRC and our allies shall once again be doing a #FlyTheFlag campaign where freedom seeking people from around the world raise the flag for Palestine throughout Ramadan.
The genocide taking place in Gaza right now, not only wishes to annihilate the Palestinians from their native land, but to erase their entire existence from history. Whilst they know that they can no longer fool the vast majority of people that their genocide is justifiable, they are now attempting to normalise it.
We must not let people forget that the Palestinians still exist, that their genocide is unacceptable and cannot be allowed to happen, that we will not go away and that the movement will not fizzle out. Therefore, we ask people to do their upmost this Ramadan to fly the Palestinian flag, whether from your homes, your cars, your businesses, or wherever else you can. The flag is a symbol of the fight between oppressor and oppressed, genocide and human rights, truth and deception.
Why this is important now more than ever
We have seen the consciousness of the British public shift towards Palestine over the last year and a half, and the amount of pressure that the people have put on the system to abandon Zionism has shown that they have seriously underestimated humanity. However, attempts have been made to normalise the genocide, or to distract us with other events taking place within the Levant, and elsewhere. Through this they hope that people will turn a blind eye to the ongoing genocide, which rather then ceasing, appears to be getting more and more brutal.
How does the #FlyTheFlag and #boycottapartheid Campaign work?
