Forwarded Event Alert: UK – IMPORTANT CHANGES for the Rally venue for the Annual Al-Quds Day March 2009
Due to a decision by the GLA to revoke their permission for the Al-Quds Day rally to be held at Trafalgar Square the march will now end at Pall Mall, 15 Waterloo Place, London.
The march will start and proceed as previously announced. Please note the changes and pass the message on.
Date: Sunday, 13 September 2009
Time: 1.30pm (The march will commence at 1:30pm from Marble Arch and will end at Pall Mall for a rally with guest speakers)
Place: Meeting point Marble Arch (nearest tube station Marble Arch)
Speakers include: Roland Rance, Yvonne Ridley, Rabbi Ahron Cohen, Daud Abdullah, John Rees and Sheikh Bahmanpour.
Supporting organisations include: Ahlulbayt Islamic Mission, British Muslim Initiative, CAMPACC, FOSIS, Friends of Al-Aqsa, Friends of Lebanon, Islamic Forum of Europe, Innovative Minds, Islamic Centre of England, Islamic Human Rights Commission, Islamic Student Association UK, Jews Against Zionism, Muslim Association of Britain, Muslim Council of Britain, Neturei Karta, Palestine Return Centre, Respect Party and Stop the War Coalition.
