20.35GMT, for immediate release.  IHRC has received reports from Benghazi that ongoing violence against protestors by the regime has resulted in over 200 deaths.

The violence perpetrated so easily on protestors staging a sit in.  However crucial aspects of the background to this situation have not been understood. 

IHRC is deeply concerned over the reporting of such news agencies as the BBC, CNN and Fox News.  

In language that has been more associated with the unleashing of violent  thugs by Mubarak on the streets of Cairo in recent days, David Cameron speaking at the Munich security conference in Germany wishes to promote a ‘more active muscular liberalism’ within Europe.  Are the EDL the attack dogs of Cameron’s more muscular liberalism?

In another twist, Hosni Mubarak indicates that he is ‘fed up’ but that ‘Obama has not asked for him to go immediately’.  William Hague, the British foreign secretary, does not wish to advocate ‘who should… go’.
