There has been a lot of speculation regarding the release of Sheikh El-Zakzaky. 

This speculation has so far been inaccurate and has been very unhelpful at a time of sensitive negotiations.  We kindly ask for everyone to refrain from such speculation or spread such speculation unless it is confirmed information from the Sheikh’s office or IHRC.

Please also be aware that his being allowed to travel for medical treatment is not in and of itself freedom.  This struggle continues.
