UK Campaign Update: ‘Know Your Rights: Part II’ Leaflet now available

IHRC and Arani & Co. Solicitors have produced a second leaflet detailing the rights of people living in the UK regarding recent developments under anti-terrorist and immigration legislation. The leaflet details two areas:

(i) What to do if you are detained or questioned by security services whilst travelling or at any UK port.
(ii) Your rights under new laws regarding dual nationality

IHRC and Arani & Co. decided to issue this leaflet as both have been receiving cases of people unsure of their status, particularly with regards to immigration law changes regarding dual nationality. There have also been a number of cases of persons harassed whilst travelling, often detained because they were unaware as to their situation under new laws.

The distribution of the first ‘Know Your Rights’ leaflet ha snow reached in excess of 500,000 around the UK. If you would like to help distribute the second leaflet, please contact IHRC on the numbers below.
