UK Event & On-Line Workshop: ‘Freedom for Palestine’ March and On-Line IHRC Workshop
1. March & Rally
2. On-Line Workshop ‘How to Campaign for Palestine’
1. March & Rally
The Islamic Human Rights Commission will be attending, as usual, the National Freedom for Palestine rally this Saturday 27th September 2003, to commemorate the third anniversary of the Al-Aqsa Intifada.
IHRC will have a stall with campaign material and placards at both the start point of Hyde Park and at the march’s destination in Trafalgar Square. We will also be selling ‘Freedom for Palestine’ T-Shirts, lanyards and flags. The march starts at 12 noon. IHRC urges its campaigners to attend to voice their protest at the continued oppression of the Palestinian people.
2. On-Line Workshop ‘How to Campaign for Palestine’
IHRC’s workshop, ‘How to Campaign for Palestine’ is available to listen to on-line or download from:
http://www.inminds.co.uk/campaigning-for-human-rights.html#t3
Text extracts from the workshop can also be read on-line. The audio last for 17 minutes, and concisely addresses the question of what as campaigners it is we want to achieve for Palestine? The workshop looks at how to focus on the issues at hand and what methodologies we should adopt.
