1. Intro
Today is one of the biggest events in the IHRC calendar; Genocide Memorial Day 2013. A whole host of speakers from various parts of the world will be attended and speaking at our conference in London. We’re also planning on streaming the event for our international followers.
We have also been busy doing the day-to-day work, defending the rights of the oppressed. A team from the Universal Justice Network (UJN) which included IHRC has just returned from Indonesia after responding to the plight of the Muslims who are suffering sectarian violence and discord.
Sadly we cannot cover many issues, but with your continued support and donation we can start to address more in what are increasingly austere times.
If you would like to donate to IHRC please contact the office on +44 20 8904 4222 or info@ihrc.org or download a copy of our latest newsletter and fill in one of the donation forms and return to us:

IHRC will be holding the fourth annual Genocide Memorial Day with speakers and guests coming from around the world.
The philosophy behind GMD rejects the notion that there is a hierarchy of victim depending on their background. We want to hold people accountable in the framework of GMD by highlighting those people and power structures who have perpetrated genocides or genocidal acts and we want to remember the victims who have lost their lives.
For those who are unable to attend and are followers of IHRC from other parts of the world, we will be streaming the event LIVE on www.ihrc.tv

“And what reason have you that you should not fight in the way of Allah and of the weak among the men and the women and the children, (of) those who say: Our Lord! Cause us to go forth from this town, whose people are oppressors, and give us from Thee a guardian and give us from Thee a helper.”
